Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Remy Sher hails from Laurel Canyon, the birthplace of L.A.'s music scene. Naturally gravitating toward the neighborhood's folk-rock roots, he fell in love with songwriting and the acoustic guitar at an early age.
Sher has performed at various festivals and venues, including the GRAMMY Museum, the Laurel Canyon Love Street Festival, and with a vocal ensemble at Carnegie Hall. Sher released his debut project "Fool's Gold EP" in December 2020, recorded with a live trio and spanning a wide range of influences. His latest single "Paris," released in July 2021, is an emotional indie-folk track which reflects his passion for intimate storytelling. Currently a student at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, Sher continues to establish himself in the local music scene as a budding singer/songwriter and guitarist.
“Sher is an artist with no shortage of ideas and bucket loads of potential. If each release can build upon the last, then there’s every chance a lot more of us will be hearing Sher’s work before too long.” - I Said Yeah Music Blog (istoodupandisaidyeah.music.blog).
