Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Remy Sher hails from Laurel Canyon, once the heart of L.A.’s music scene. Remy picked up an electric guitar at the age of five and soon began to dabble in just about anything that made a sound. Eventually gravitating toward folk-rock, he fell in love with songwriting and the acoustic guitar. He soon became drawn to the blues and once again the electric guitar, and has since developed a love for soul, R&B, and hip-hop. Remy strives to create music that is diverse and not confined to any one style.
Remy’s first single, an acoustic singer-songwriter tune titled “Better Days,” was released in August 2020. He followed with "Rain in LA" just two months later, described as “a bluesy number with Dylan-esque vocal inflections, [and] excellent electric guitar (Remy is obviously a B.B. King fan, and rightfully so)” - The Other Side Reviews (theothersidereviews.com).
His debut project “Fool’s Gold EP” is a four-track tale of love, heartbreak and the road ahead, recorded with a live trio in Los Angeles, California. The project spans a wide range of influences, yet remains constantly held down by Remy’s acoustic guitar, the very foundation of his artistry.
